Chady Atallah, MD, FACS, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital and serves as Director of the General Surgery Residency Program. A board-certified colorectal surgeon, he specializes in the treatment of colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, and anorectal disorders, with expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Previously, Dr. Atallah was Assistant Professor in the Ravitch Division of Colorectal Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he also served as Assistant Program Director for the General Surgery Residency and Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Surgical Residency. His research focuses on colorectal cancer outcomes, including circulating tumor DNA in rectal cancer and treatment-related sexual and urinary dysfunction. Dr. Atallah is committed to advancing colorectal cancer care and surgical training through his clinical, research, and educational leadership.
