She is a consultant urologist and attending head of the Department of Urology at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen. Her field of expertise is bladder cancer and reconstructive surgery. She is responsible for treatment of bladder cancer in Western Norway, she is a member of the Norwegian Urothelial Guidelines Group as well as in the Nordic Urothelial Collaboration Group.
