Haniee Chung, MD, FACS, completed her residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. She began her career at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with a clinical focus on treating colorectal cancers. Dr. Chung has developed a strong interest in building multidisciplinary teams to tackle aggressive cancers, particularly those requiring nonoperative modalities of treatment in the perioperative setting and multivisceral resections. Currently, as the Section Head of Oncology in the Department of Colorectal Surgery and Rectal Cancer Program Director at the Cleveland Clinic, she continues to work in a multidisciplinary setting to offer comprehensive treatment options to complex cancer patients.
